Rocky Shore: How it happened

Rocky shore is known by its fast and sweeping corners. It is one of the overall fastest circuits the Formula D Championship will visit this year. Even if it is one of the newest circuits that were introduced to the championship, it has become one of the all-time greatest in a short time.

The qualifying produced some big surprises; Megan Fox which had qualified on pole position in the last race in Monaco, and is leading the driver championship. The next surprise was the former world champion Ken Burton who came second in Monaco also struggled, again, with his car and could not manage more than seventh place for the qualifying.

Qualifying:

1.       McKidd (Hard)

2.       House (Soft)

3.       Mr. Awesome (soft)

4.       Kun Rå (Soft)

5.       Victoria (Soft)

6.       Snusmumrikken (Hard)

7.       Ken Burton (soft)

8.       Megan Fox (Soft)

Lap 1:

With a pole position McKidd had an easy task in the start, and was able to create that important gap down to the rest. He opted to start on the hard compound, and it looked like he would be going all the way to the last lap on it. House, which started second opted for the soft compound, and hoped that, would give him the edge in the battle against McKidd. Mr. Awesome was challenging McKidd on his third place, and Victoria trying to get as close to a podium finish as possible from her fifth position. At the end of the lap, Red Bull saw their moment to jump pit the Sony and Emirates car of McKidd and House, respectively. Snusmumrikken looked like he was going to have a struggling afternoon, and tried to make the most out of his hard tires. Megan Fox who had started dead last, started to climb up the ladder quite early on, but it looked like it would be to long up to the front runners.

Lap 2:

With both House and Mr. Awesome opting to pit on the first lap, McKidd was now out alone pushing to get clear enough to join out in front of the two cars of House and Mr. Awesome. Megan Fox was now running second, but she still needed to pit to switch from the soft compound to the hard compound. Kun Rå and Ken Burton scraped for the seventh position and we saw some god battling from both cars.

McKidd was out, meaning the race leader was now Megan Fox who had started dead last, and was still on the soft tires. Snusmumrikken was second and still on the hard compound. It looked like Victoria would be in the lead when Megan Fox and Snusmumrikken needed to pit. House and Mr. Awesome had a great battle, for a possible second place.

The leader was now House, but Mr. Awesome was closing in on him. Snusmumrikken who had pitted on lap three made good use of his soft compound and closed in on Megan Fox. Megan Fox would not have any of it, and pushed even harder. She could be able to catch Mr. Awesome before the race was over.
